Arm & Disarm Your Security System with Your Phone!

Complete remote control of your security alarm system from your smart device, or computer using the Honeywell Total Connect log in or App. Remotely arm, disarm, or check the status of your security system. Did you forget to arm the system when you left? No problem, log in and arm it. Not sure if you closed the garage roll-up door when you left? Log in and check the status to see if it is closed. Did a relative arrive early? No problem, log in and disarm the system for them.

You can custom program your system to send you text messages, emails, or even video alerts of important events happening in your home. Receive a text or email when your child arrives home from school and disarms the system. Receive a notification anytime the gun safe is opened. Receive alerts whenever the system is armed or disarmed with the name of the user who performed the action. Would you like to receive a text anytime your side gate is opened or if your garage roll-up door has been left open for more than 15 minutes? Custom program your system to turn on and off select interior and exterior lights. This can be done via your smart device, scheduled times, or upon other events like arming or disarming. Using schedules to turn on and off interior and exterior lights can make your home appear occupied when you are at work or away on vacation. Custom schedules for lighting can also help to save money and reduce your energy bill by automatically turning off lights that may have otherwise been left on all day or night.


Lock and Unlock Doors

Unlock your home’s true potential. Control your Z-Wave door locks from your smart device or computer. Did your kids forget their keys again? Unlock the door for them without having to leave work. Have a friend, neighbor, or relative dropping by or dropping off a package? No problem, unlock the door for them and then lock it again after they leave. You can also set schedules or set scenes to lock or unlock your doors. Arming the alarm system on stay when you go to bed? The system can automatically lock the doors when you arm it on stay so you don’t have to get up out of bed to make sure you locked the front door. With Total Connect 2.0 the possibilities are endless.



Control your Thermostat

Control your Z-Wave enabled thermostat manually, remotely, or assign schedules or scenes. You can design customized scenes or schedules for comfort and to save on that energy bill. When you are leaving and arm the system on away, it can automatically set the thermostat to 82 degrees. At 5 pm, thirty minutes before you typically return home, it can automatically adjust the thermostat to a cool 75 degrees, so you arrive to a comfortable home. Each feature is customizable to fit your desired temperature, schedules, and needs.



Real-Time Video Look-in Cameras with Alerts

View live video of your home from your smart device anywhere that you have internet access. Keep an eye on your children or pets when you’re away. Can be used with elder care packages to pop in and see how your elderly relative is doing without bothering them. Receive a 10 second video clip when your child arrives home from school or when the safe or gun closet is opened. See what going on in your home when you’re not around.



Scenes and Schedules

Creating scenes and schedules can enhance your lifestyle and help you save money and energy without any change to your daily routine. Set a schedule to turn lights on and off at various times to make your home appear occupied while you are away on vacation. Create a “Goodnight” scene that could entail having the doors lock and lights turn off when you arm the security system for the night. Have your hallway light turn on when the garage to house door opens so that you aren’t stumbling through a dark hallway. The possibilities are endless.
